Naglaa Abdel Razek is a graduate of Cairo University faculty of medicine the year 1993 and completed her studies for the MD in Radiology from the Cairo University in the year 2003. And she completed her training in breast imaging and intervention in Germany, Italy and France. Since 1995, she is working as a staff member in the radiology department and she was nominated as a professor of radiology since May 2013. She is one of the most recognized radiologists in Egypt working in the field of breast cancer screening, diagnosis and intervention. She introduced to Egypt the technique of non-invasive removal of benign tumors of the breast using the vacuum assisted biopsy and also she introduced a very new technique to Egypt , the breast lesion excision biopsy (BLES) and she is working with international group to set guidelines for the use of such a new technique. Dr Naglaa is an active member in the Women’s Health Outreach Program at the Ministry of Health since 2007 and in October 2014 till May 2016 ,she was nominated as the General manager of Egypt breast cancer screening program and women health in Egypt and she occupied the post of being the Minister Advisor in radiology for one year from January 2015 to January 2016. She is an active member and Board member of many National & International societies, She is president and founder of the Pink foundation and Detect Breast course & she is an international Board member of the American Association of Women Radiologists, European society of Radiology ,European Society of Breast Imaging & the Radiology Society of North America. Prof. Naglaa also is the principle breast radiologist and interventionist in Alfa scan Radiology Center and she is the head of the breast unit since 2003 till present . Naglaa has many national and international publications and has presented many presentations in national and international conferences especially concerned with breast cancer. Dr. Naglaa’s favorite mission is to fight breast cancer.

Cancer

Dr. Evbuomwan has completed his masters in medicine (MMED, Nuclear medicine) from the University of The Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. He is currently a nuclear medicine specialist practicing in Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital. He has published lots of papers in reputable journals and he is a presenter in both local and international conferences

Nuclear Medicine

Shina Ghafoor has completed her MBChB from the Medical School of Baghdad, Iraq. She is a Postgraduate and had Specialist Training for Radiology at the University Hospital of Basel, Switzerland. She has the Fellowship for Musculoskeletal Radiology and is currently working as Consultant Radiologist and MRI Lead at Thun Hospital, Bern, Switzerland. She has worked as a Consultant General and Musculoskeletal Radiologist in the United Kingdom

Radiology

Dr. Ahmed Shokry is currently the Head of Radiology Department at National Cancer Institute (NCI), Cairo University, Egypt. In addition, he is the current head of MD Degree Program of Radiodiagnosis Department at National Cancer Institute (NCI), Cairo University. He has published lots of papers in reputable journals and he is a presenter at both local and international conferences. He has a Certificate of Excellence in Reviewing Scientific Articles in Elsevier Reviews, 2016.

Radiology and Oncology

He is Project Manager at World Health Organization, Egypt. He did Ph.D. in health economics & policies. He is Oncology and biotechnology product specialist also. He did Medical training for oncology in Germany.

Oncology

Dr. Nelson graduated from Queens University Belfast Medical School in 1992 and commences as Junior House Officer at the Royal Victoria Hospital. Initially, Dr. Nelson undertook surgical training in the Belfast Surgical Training Scheme then entered the Hull and East Yorkshire Radiology Training Scheme in 1996, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2001 with subspecialty training in Radio nucleotide Radiology. Dr Nelson was appointed to the Northern Health and Social Care Trust in 2001 and is presently Bowel Cancer Screening Programme for Northern Ireland Radiology QA lead, Honorary Lecturer at Queens University Belfast, Deputy Radiology Specialty Adviser to Chief Medical Officer for Northern Ireland and Clinical Radiology Lead for 3Fivetwo Group. Previously Dr Nelson was Clinical Director for Medical Diagnostic Specialties (2004-2010), Deputy Medical Director for Acute services (2013-2014) and Associate medical director for Unscheduled Care (2014-2015). Dr Nelson is on various medical committees and groups including Modernising Radiology Clinical Network, Colorectal Clinical Reference Group, and Multidiscipline Team Effectiveness Steering Group. Dr. Nelson has published and presented 14 Radiology articles.

Clinical Radiology

He is providing general clinical radiological services to the Northern Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT). This entails the provision of screening lists, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear medicine, and Plain Radiograph reporting. He is sub-specialized in radionucleotide Radiology and holds ARSAC license. He is a member of the Northern Ireland Radiology Standing Committee since 2007. He was appointed as Quality Assurance Radiology Lead for Northern Ireland Bowel Cancer Screening Programme and Deputy Specialty Advisor for Radiology to the Chief Medical Officer of Northern Ireland in 2011.
